For years Michael Jackson provided his parents $60,000 a month to live on. Now the gravy train, at least for his father Joe, is over. Michael has left him nothing. Of course I can’t pretend to know all the motivations running around in Joe Jackson’s head. But his latest attempt at money grabbing is not a good marker. Joe has appealed to the court, hoping to get more money out of his dead son’s estate. Acording to him, his expenses are $15,000 a month, bottom line. Apparently he cannot live on any less. Huh? What does an 80 year old man do with that kind of money? Statistically speaking, when a human being gets into that age group, he or she ought to be thinking of more pressing concerns than squirreling away cash. (more…)
